Trivor ("Trivor", "we", "us") is a competitive trivia game. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account — when you sign in (e.g. with email or Apple), we receive an account identifier and email address to create your profile.
- Profile — a username/display name, optional avatar, and optional country/city you choose to add.
- Gameplay — match results, scores, answers, ELO rating, XP, achievements, cosmetics and in-game currency (gems) needed to run the game and leaderboards.
- Purchases — if you buy gems or a subscription, Apple processes the payment. We receive a confirmation that a purchase occurred; we never see your card details.
- Usage & device — basic, mostly aggregated analytics (e.g. which screens are used, crashes) to improve the app.
How we use it
- To run the game — matchmaking, scoring, ranking, leaderboards, achievements and the store.
- To show public profiles and rankings to other players (see below).
- To process purchases and provide PRO / ad-free benefits.
- To provide support and to keep the game fair (anti-cheat, moderation).
- To understand and improve the experience.
What other players see
Trivor is social. Your username, avatar, country flag, rank, level and monthly badges are visible to other players on profiles, match screens and leaderboards. Your email and purchases are never shown to others.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that help us run Trivor:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication and storage.
- Apple — App Store sign-in and in-app purchases.
- Analytics / ads providers — where used, to measure usage and (for free users) show ads. PRO and ad-free users see no ads.
Children
Trivor is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can view and edit your profile in the app. You can request access to, or deletion of, your account and data at any time by emailing support@playtrivor.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.
Data retention & security
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the game. Data is protected with industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to keep it safe.
Changes
We may update this policy. We'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
